Anchor Scripture: He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white garment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 3:5

And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
Exodus 32:33

Blessed be the name of the Lord.

The book of life, is by far the most important, and most relevant book for human beings of all ages, that have lived, are living and will ever live, upon the surface of the earth.

The book of life, is simply the exclusive register for all the people who will be allowed to enter the extraordinarily amazing city of Heaven, at the end of time.

The requirement for someone's name to be written in Heaven's book of life, is simple and straight-forward enough: authentic salvation, procured only through genuine repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ.

There's counterfeit salvation, and many so-called Christians are parading with it, to the utter disappointment/disapproval of Heaven, and to the excitement of the devil and his wicked demons.

Any salvation that does not involve repentance/departure from past sins, and the forming of a new creature(2 Corinthians 5:17) in the new convert, is absolutely fake.

We are not saying a new convert will be 100% holy from the onset, but we are confidently saying that sin will no longer have dominion over him/her.

Unlike when they were dead in sin, the new Christian can now exercise the newly acquired power in Christ Jesus (if he/she wants to) to say no to sin, when it knocks at the door.

Brethren, saying the names of the paraders of fake salvation, will be conspicuously missing in Heaven's book of life, is just stating the obvious.

To retain one's name in the book of life, holiness, is the requirement.

For this, Hebrews 12:14 comes to mind, "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."

Without mincing words, the implication is that if a new believer decides he/she does  not need to live a holy life, after giving his/her life to Christ, and can continue in their old sinful habits, their names will be deleted from Heaven's book of life, and written in hellfire's book of the damned.

Those proponents and promoters of the once-saved and forever-saved doctrine, are poor readers of the scripture.

Or better put, the devil – taking advantage of their uncrucified carnal desires, has succeeded in deceiving them that they can be living in sin, and still get to Heaven – even when they die in their sins.

These people need to wake up from their deep slumber, before it's too late!

Let them fully be cognizant of the fact that Heaven is the destination for holy people, while hellfire is the destination for the sinful people(including those still actively committing sins, but still referring to themselves as Christians.)

Matthew 7:21-23 says, " Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity?

Let us look at the take-aways from this sobering and insightful scriptures:

1.    You can still have sin in your life, and still be calling yourself a Christian, even in church, pretending and deceiving yourself.
2.    You can still have sin in your life, and still successfully prophesy.
3.    You can still have sin in your life and still successfully cast out devils.
4.    You can still have sin in your life, and still successfully perform signs and wonders, and many wonderful works, using the name of Jesus.

But Brethren, you can never enter Heaven, with sin in your life.

Therefore, those people deceiving themselves that they are still on the right track and on course to make it to Heaven, just because they are prophesying accurately, successfully casting out demons, and performing signs and wonders,  while still living in sin, are setting up themselves for a gigantic rude shock, in the unbearable heat of hellfire.

Our second anchor scripture in Exodus 32;33, has proven beyond all reasonable doubt, that it is indeed possible for someone's name to be struck out of Heaven's book of life.

Brethren, let us strive to live and maintain a holy life, till the end, to retain our names in Heaven's book of life.

GOD will see us through in the mighty name of Jesus.

Amen.
